Westpark is a challenging semi-private 18-hole facility located in the center of Loudoun County. The clubhouse holds a full service pro shop, with equipment, golf apparel, and accessories. The driving range is open year-round and practice putting and chipping greens are available. Golf instruction is available for all skill levels, and every summer the club hosts a junior golf camp for a hundred budding golfers. The course also hosts several charity golf events each year.
Designed by Edmond B Ault, Westpark Golf Club was originally known as the Leesburg Country Club, and was established as a semi-private facility in the spring of 1968. In 1972 the course was purchased and a hotel was added changing the club's name to the Sigwick Inn. The Inn provided full banquet and restaurant services in addition to building a practice range and putting green for the golf club. In order to make room for the practice facilities, two holes were moved to what are now numbers 5 and 6. The Westpark Hotel Corporation later bought the club and officially changed the name to the Westpark Golf Club in 1985. The hotel maintained full operation until the winter of 1993 when it was closed in order to focus on the day-to-day operation of the golf club. The winter of 1999 saw drastic improvements to the pro shop, restaurant, and clubhouse grounds. Today, Westpark golf club maintains over one hundred memberships while continuing service to the public.
